Reflections after watching the passion of the Christ
God, how can I ever fail You?
After all that You’ve done
You have victory over evil
Over sin, over death,
Over pain,
Over sorrow.
You were betrayed
That tear in Your heart
That flesh that was torn
But yet Lord, You had the strength to carry on
You always had the power to stand
To do what was right, Father teach me to do the same.
I could never understand
Nor ever comprehend
Nor can I ever know why You chose this path Lord
All my sins
My every mistake
Lord, it was bore by You
Lord, it was heavy.
What can I do
What can I ever do
What Lord. What.
Those tools of men, hammers, nails, good gifts, inspirations given by You,
Yet turned against You as weapons.
What rebellion, what betrayal.
Why do we honor You with praise
Then later throw eggs back at Your face?
Even spit at You, outrageous!
I make all things new You say,
Lord when will You return?
Why Lord did u create me?
You didn’t need me, but why do You want to share this love with me?
Why Lord did u choose to be that good shepherd who laid Your life for me?Why?
For me to look You in the eye
And see the hope You have in me to continue passing on the word of what You’ve done
The truth.
Let me never belittle the piece of bread I place in my mouth
Nor that wine I drink
For you said, “do this in remembrance of me”
I will always remember You Lord,
You, who 1st had an encounter with me.
For You seeked, not i.
You called me friend!
And showed me what faith was about
To know that God is with You.
When You went on the road to the cross.
Love one another You taught, as You have first loved me, love one another
You are the truth, the way and the life
No one comes to the father but by You
Father forgive them You shout!
For they don’t know. They don’t know
They even mocked You at the cross
Your blood as the new covenant
Which is given for all for the forgiveness of sin
You could have proven Yourself,
Saved Yourself,
Called for 10,000 angels
O yes You could! But what respect and obedience You showed to the Father.
What trust!
What humility! What control.
We deserve this! We prayed,
But You did not.
Yet forever and ever
The holes on Your feet and hands
Bear the mark of what You’ve done for us.
I have sinned
And my punishment is just,
You would have been justified in condemning me.
I ask that You remember me, Lord
When You enter Your kingdom.
You gracefully said amen! And welcomed me to Your paradise
And your grace reached out to me,
A non-Jew, an unworthy sinner
On the cross,
The slowest most painful way to die
You did all that had to be done.
Lord Your kingdom knows no time
You do as it is just
And Your word shall always come to pass
Forever and ever
This love, I shall never forget.
This desire, this love for mankind.
Your passion.
The passion of the Christ.
Amen.

RADICAL CONFERENCE 07
and so it has ended.. i guess our unanimous service feedback would be for e conference to be longer next year, a larger crowd capacity and a larger venue to host the event! man, i'm like super excited with the growth of our ministry, God's kingdom. i guess a real powerful msg that everyone can take home would b ask an ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find! lets just open our mouths and start praying, pray for our friends and family and nation. "i will read my bible and pray, ALL DAY, all day now, all day, I will follow YOU!" living radically for God shd b culture, deeply engrained in our lives, be radical for God each day!
